Mural Painting

Yesterday, Room 2 students had their chance to help Stu Duval and Mrs Dons create the new mural, which will go up outside our classroom. Students worked in pairs, and each pair had a few minutes to add to the mural. The mural has now been completed, and will be unveiled at the beginning of next term.

Stu Duval Visit

We are lucky enough to have artist and storyteller, Stu Duval, visit Cloverlea School this week. He told us a riveting story about the wreck of the HMS Orpheus and created an amazing picture of the Manukau Heads. Room 2 won this picture, and it is now on display in our cloak bay. Stu will be with us for the next three days as he will be helping us to create a new playground mural, which will go outside Room 2.

Pink Shirt Day and Wacky Wig Day

We have had two charity mufti days this term: Pink Shirt Day to raise awareness of the issue of bullying, and Wacky Wig Day to raise money for child cancer.
